Hello there, welcome. I’m Edward, the voice behind these words and Fond Thinker. A site that happily rebels against newsfeed-style reporting, instead going for more enduring themes, more systems-thinking critiques, and consilience across-disciplines.

This site has evolved from being about art and philosophy and mental health to histories of science and science policy in the UK. It’s eclectic enough to discourage a mass audience, but with some exploration there are articles for some interests you might have, such as in heallthy eating or in reforming anti-addiction policy for the UK.  There’s a lot about a lot.
